Every Time...

Ever feel like you get so caught up in doing the right thing that you completely overlook the obvious thing that you might be missing out on? Today I was doing my best to be the best teacher that I could be  and totally rocking it that I completely dismissed any thought on missing something because I literally had no time to do so.

Every time I think I'm rocking at something like motherhood, or teaching, or cooking, something unexpected happens. It feels like someone is out to get me...watching me and setting me up to fail. I know it is the enemy...the devil...setting me up for failure. Many times it does happen...so I put the situation I faced today in God's hands. He is the only one who can set me up for success.

As for trying...what does it matter if I'm doing well at something...that someone finds something totally unrelated to pick apart?

Why does it matter?
Why do I try?
Why does the answer have to be no?

I chose to use real dates on this calendar as I actually use it in real life. It keeps me sane since I'm expecting a child, teaching full time, and have an after-school chorus.
