9/11 West Point Band Performance

On 9/11/2013 the West Point Concert Band performed at Trinity Church located near ground zero in New York. The concert featured a tribute to American composers representing a tribute to the American spirit that still lives on today despite tragedy. Watch the performance here

Now that the government shut-down has ended (but not avoided), the West Point Band is free to resume normal activities in performing around New York. What a fabulous ensemble. I've been privileged to sit in on two rehearsals and a performance. It was so much fun. If anyone is in the New York area, please visit West Point USMA during one of their performances.
